With these ideas in mind, we have treated 25 peroxisomal-disorder patients so far, three of them with classic Zellweger’s syndrome.
It is difficult to classify the other 22 patients since there is much confusion nowadays on the subject, as mentioned above.
This treatment is producing significant beneficial effects in patients with relatively mild variants of Zellweger's syndrome, and is currently been used by several other physicians in the world.
