Pulmonic regurgitation is a condition in which the pulmonic valve allows blood to flow back into the right ventricle from the pulmonary artery.
Valvular heart problems can be corrected surgically, by direct repair of the valve, replacement of the damaged valve with an artificial valve, or by a nonsurgical technique called balloon valvuloplasty.
Decreased left ventricular function, which can prevent surgery in other conditions, is not a reason to avoid surgery in aortic stenosis.
