I'm interested in why this entire cycle might have evolved as such in the first place, instead of other (theoretical) possibilities--shouldn't there be a section in the article about theories concerning the possible evolutionary pathways toward the menstrual cycle?
This phase is not a time to make changes; however, it is time to reflect on changes that need to be made in the next cycle.
I don't mean to be negative (and of course I intend to add to it to improve what I deem as insufficiencies) but it seems to be rather light on information (for a featured article).
