 IMMUNIZATION
Immunization is found in the Vedas of India, who most likely heard about the process from China.
That many parents are aware of a decline in their childs energy level after having an immunization shot as the disease process that is started by the immune shot proceeds to develop.
This discussion will be on immunization shots, a part of medicine that most doctors, and most of the public, consider a valid weapon in the orthodox medical arsenal.

 Immunization-Related Problems - Janet Zand L.Ac., O.M.D. - HealthWorld Online
Immunization is a controversial issue in pediatric medicine today.
Indeed, there is research showing that the incidence of certain diseases, such as polio and diphtheria, were declining on their own before the vaccines designed to combat them were introduced.
You can boost your child's resistance to disease by supporting her immune system, first by breastfeeding (a mother's immunities are temporarily transferred to her baby this way), and later by providing a nutritious diet.

 OpenWaldorf-Health
"Anthroposophical medicine" is a form of alternative medicine based on the spiritual science of Anthroposophy.
Instead, Waldorf says that immunization should be informed by medical professionals, and ultimately parents should decide whether or not to immunize their own children.
While there may not be an official position on immunization at Waldorf, there does seem to be a strong cultural anti-immunization preference among thought-leaders in the Waldorf community.

Preliminary Considerations Regarding Federal Investments in Vaccine Purchase and Immunization Services
Public health clinics may often provide an important source of immunization services for young children when a family's insurance status is uncertain, interrupted, or limited in coverage.
The purpose of this independent review is to provide candid and critical comments that will assist the authors and the Institute of Medicine in making the published report as sound as possible and to ensure that the report meets institutional standards for objectivity, evidence, and responsiveness to the study charge.
Finance strategies to address this challenge must constantly adapt to new scientific developments; changes in social, health, and economic conditions (including population migrations); and shifting roles in the balance of federal, state, and local responsibilities in the administration of health care systems.

 Naturopathy: Opposition to Immunization
The contemporary fashion of healing disease is that of serums, inoculations and vaccines, which, instead of being an improvement on the fake medicines of former ages are of no value in the cure of disease, but on the contrary introduce lesions into the human body of the most distressing and deadly import.
Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine 154:75-80, 2000.
It then explains that the "huge discrepancy" between established medical opinion and the actions of these "thoughtful" naturopaths is related to beliefs that natural methods can preserve and strengthen the immune system [10].

As with all clinical reference resources, they reflect the best understanding of the science of medicine at the time of publication, but they should be used with the clear understanding that continued research may result in new knowledge and recommendations.
As such, they cannot substitute for the individual judgment brought to each clinical situation by the patient’s physician.

Immunization Safety Review: Multiple Immunizations and Immune Dysfunction
This study is the third in a series on vaccine safety sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Although the committee's review of clinical and epidemiological studies found no link between childhood immunizations and immune system dysfunction, its evaluation of basic science research yielded weak evidence of biological mechanisms by which vaccinations might increase the risk of diabetes or allergies.
One concern is related to the higher incidence of diseases associated with immune system dysfunction, such as asthma and Type 1 diabetes -- an insulin-dependent form of the disease, previously referred to as juvenile diabetes.

We recommend that their use completely replace use of whole-cell DTP vaccines in clinical practice.
Continuing concerns regarding use of acellular pertussis vaccines include potential reduced clinical efficacy, indications that most of the severe adverse effects previously attributed to whole-cell vaccines may not be supported by clinical data, and recognition that acellular vaccines also cause some adverse effects.
