 Colon cancer
Colon cancer may be treated with external radiation.
The choice of treatment and prognosis (chance of recovery) depend on the stage of the cancer (whether the cancer is in the inner lining of the colon only or if it has spread to other places) and the patient's general health.
Choosing the most appropriate cancer treatment is a decision that ideally involves the patient, family, and health care team.
